Why I don't recommend Cyberpunk 2077 you ask? Because

1) Its not an RPG game as advertised.
2) Buggy as hell.
3) Not immersive at all as advertised. Nothing to interact with (like we have racing, barber shops and so much more in GTA).
4) Same mechanics used from Witcher 3 such as garbage collectibles, crafting and getting over weight all the time. Oh not to mention the cops have the same mechanics as Roach because they spawn just behind you like your pet and if you get away, they won't bother to follow you. Pffft.
5) Very bad physics compared to other open world games. Hell, even 15 year old GTA beats this game with ease. Just compare GTA San Andreas and you would know.
6) Unrelated to PC release, I don't understand why they would release this game on older consoles like the PS4 if it was so buggy as hell. Did greed get the best out of CDPR as well? Red Dead Redemption 2 beats the ♥♥♥♥ out of this game in every aspect and it still runs fine on base PS4 console.

All the promotion and hype just to get this kind of garbage. I hope people realize that promotion isn't everything. I for one won't be pre purchasing a digital copy of any type of game anymore.

I see. Btw I might change my review after I end the game and they release nice dlc's and fix the bugs. Its just that like most people the expectations were really high which is why I was frustrated with it.

Actually that part isn't true since you can eliminate some of the key characters through the side quests based on your actions making certain paths blocked off. Have around 130 hours in so far and still finding some new things. I had to replay one of which missions with a new character since can't go back and redo them that far into the game to bring back a certain character needed for one of the stories that I chunked off a building the first play through.

I haven't finished the game yet but I heard your choices don't even matter until its the last area. If that's so then all 6 endings can be gotten just from one save file. And the 3 paths we are given in the beginning are basically the same with just a few alterations in dialogue and cut scenes. But my review is mostly based on general observation of the game, as an open world game it still isn't enough. They never put detail into small things. The video games are just for show but we had many mini games to play in GTA. The food stalls are just for show and only from a few we can buy it just goes to the inventory, in GTA the player gets fat, can puke and enjoy the meal like a normal person. That kind of interactivity and AI is what is missing.

I will see what kind of updates they can bring into the game but right now the story and quests alone cannot justify that the game is good.

Even racing in GTA was the same way where you had to get far enough into the game to talk to the right ones to start up the events. There is a lot of things still to come later too as free DLC for next year since they don't charge for updates or introduce in game currency. Such as most never play long enough to realize there is 6 endings and you can't get the story paths without exploring the side quests and random events like GTA V that had different people for heists you meet by exploring the city and doing the smaller events.

That's the point. It's only available through quests. If you only want to roam the city and cause a rampage. Its such a bad experience. I literally die without any reason sometimes. The food stalls are there just for show. In fact, all the crowd is just for show and can't interact in any way.

But what I like about the game is that if you only follow the missions and the side quests, the game is a blast. The genre of the game should have been Linear Story driven action adventure instead of Open RPG. That's not just my opinion but there are tons of youtube videos that says the same.

There is some racing and other things if you start up the quest lines at Afterlife and some other places. Just have to explore and talk to various people.
