really love this game, but there's many "odd" design choices in it. my personally biggest one is the reinforcements system, the many unfair ways to die, and about losing missions.

like, there is alot to say to not worry about mission loss. requisition + experience, super-credits, and partly medals, none require a 100% success to earn them. and obviously this fits the random deaths of the game.

but there's also alot that says to ABSOLUTELY NOT lose. samples require extract, 0 medals awarded before objectives 100% completed, and operations without failing gives significantly increased medals AND is the only way to contribute to a planet's liberation.

so in my opinion doesn't really fit having both. deliberately high RNG & unfairness. but ALSO expecting milestones to be met.
(and expecting alot of it, since the grind is so long.)
