While I enjoy returning to Vindictus occasionally, to try a new character/class, the game feels outdated, the engine used isn't the greatest, especially for a MMO, and the game gets old fast. The item shop is mostly focused on skimpy outfits, which also offer stats (♥♥♥♥♥♥ move) and a lot of packs that speed up the grind or help you skip some annoying aspects of gearing.

The best thing about Vindictus is still the combat, it's great even after all these years. Few games come close to the fast-paced, action-oriented style this MMO offers. Enemies and the maps could use more variety and the end-game feels a bit lackluster, but the combat manages to make all the shortcomings a bit more bearable.

Personally, I don't recommend Vindictus to newcomers, as there are newer and better action MMOs, and I hope one day we'll get a modern sequel that expands on everything that made this game great.
