A wonderful Metroidvania with beautiful pixel art and creative gameplay. There are a few rough edges (such as some key items having similar names, e.g. the various disks, and the map screen is hard to read when checking you've explored everything). Overall great, though.

Halo Infinite brings back a lot of fond memories for those familiar with the genre either on the couch or Xbox Live. The game does, though, have some pretty high system requirements for an esports shooter. If you have an older system, you may get some choppy framerates.

A beautiful game with tight, imaginative gameplay and a charming story.

This expansion amplifies everything wrong with the main game, namely the illusion of choice. The actual gameplay is more of the same, even with its own "cult" to hunt down. Unlike Fate of Atlantis, this DLC isn't worth your time or money.

A beautiful and enjoyable Metroidvania. The art, music and simple storytelling really make this game stand out. It's rather short -- around 12 hours to 100-percent complete -- but the game is tight and full of fun moments and memorable secrets. The platforming is tight, and the ability to restart an area instantly (with the music still going) keeps the pace brisk.

CS:GO Review
Counter-Strike is the godfather of first-person shooters and its latest incarnation, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, proves why the series is a favorite amongst FPS lovers. The game focuses on precession aiming and choke point-based positioning. The money management system in which you earn cash each round and for actions such as kills adds an extra level of strategy. Should I buy a rifle this round or save for an even better gun? The game does have some issues, namely rampant cheaters and smurfs. But overall, if you're looking for a pure FPS experience, CS:GO is the clear choice. Plus, you can dress up your guns like an American Girl doll. Who doesn't want to add stickers and vibrant paint to their AK-47?

Behind the average cover-shooter gameplay of Spec Ops: The Line is one of the most amazing story-driven gaming experiences in recent memory. Memorable and complex characters with plenty of surprises kept me playing through the sometimes spotty cover system and difficulty spike toward the end of the campaign. I did not try out the multiplayer, but honestly, why bother? The story, not the gameplay, is this title's strength. Definitely worth purchasing when it's heavily discounted, which is pretty often.
