Played enough paradox games to know that this is a tragic attempt at a vic 2 successor. I'd argue worse than imperator rome and that's impressive. Don't touch or buy this game if you are looking for something with depth. You could play the entire game in the construction menu, which as you might guess is extremely fun /s.

Edit:
This game is still infuriating to play and it's disturbing how almost 1-2 years after release important bugs haven't been ironed out. Navies are completely scuffed. Oh sure a tiny nation is able to do naval invasions from E.Asia all the way in the balkans completely unsupported. Navies magically respawn and are based off of manpowers and not ships really. If you're at war with countries and they have a civil war you suddenly lose all your war goals even if you've been fighting for 1-2+ years. Civil wars are commonplace and your country will split in half every 3 years fighting over the right to vote. Like what? I've seen Russia fight itself with million death casualties back to back 5times in the span of 20 years. Ridiculous. There's so many more game breaking features the list is shocking.

Thanks for being a Paradox fan and giving Victoria 3 a chance! We take player feedback to heart, and we're planning a lot of updates to the game that should add to the complexity and depth of the game. We hope you'll give the game another try at that point!
