3D Realms has returned to kill all the fun we were having with all the larger studios gone

Solid, straightforward design that doesn't feel as limited as you'd think.

Extremely well executed, absolutely worth a play!

Game runs amazingly smooth but just does not function properly. Inputs will not register during Standoffs and will basically break the experience of one of the most unique aspects of the entire game.

Wait for a patch.

This game isn't coming back, you're just hoping we forget about refunds by the time you silently kick it to the curb

Good combat, fun mobility, and a variety of weapons that function outside of the standard Doom variety. Maps can be huge from time to time but I didn't often find myself lost or running in circles.

To be honest I skipped the lore, and yeah I'm not a huge fan of the art but the game play is there and in the end it was enough to keep me coming back until I cleared the current episode (which had substantially more content than I was expecting)

The best thing I can say is that unlike Postal 3 at least this game runs like ♥♥♥♥ for a few minutes before it crashes.

Lacks basic input options that are provided to controller players.

Obviously the PC port was an afterthought and the focus was on the console versions. Expected a lot more from Nightdive but I won't make that mistake again.

It feels like you're playing an ad-filled, bootleg clone of Fallout 3 on google Stadia while connected to Mcdonalds wifi.

I've still got no idea what I'm doing but I'm so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ down for this ride it doesn't matter.

Framerate wildly stutters and fluctuates between 120 and 14 as soon as I move the camera or enemies load on screen.

You should absolutely wait for some performance updates before picking this up. As it stands now I can't speak to the quality of the game as it would be completely unfair to play it in the state it was released.
