(Don't pay too much attention to my time played here, I mostly played the game on Switch and just played a few matches on PC to make sure it ran properly)

Heavy Burger isn't at all what you'd expect at first glance and is easily one of the better surprises of 2018. It plays like a mix of Smash TV and Nidhogg and as such is something truely unique. Multiplayer is frantic even with just 2 people and adding more changes the way you play the game in some very interesting ways (Not only is there obviously more chaos but adding a teammate gives the game some additional depth as an attack plan needs to be shouted out and adjusted frantically on the fly). The lack of online play is truely a bummer but to be completely honest I don't know how well a game this quick would do online without an absurd amount of effort being put into the netcode. Along those lines there isn't a lot of varition to how the game is played so I don't know how well this would hold up over very extended play sessions, although you can adjust the rules and board order (and board order is a huge deal since you can duplicate/remove boards entirely if you'd like)

In short it's a very small, but incredibly interesting and fun chaotic local multiplayer game with a unique premise and a lot of polish and charm. If you have people to play with (ESPECIALLY if you have frequent guests and are looking for something super quick and easy to understand but rewarding to be skillful at) I honestly can't reccomend this game enough, ESPECIALLY at the asking price on PC.

This will sit alongside Crawl, Duck Game, and Nidhogg as my go to party games for quite some time I'm sure.
