This is a 3D metroidvania platformer with a dream-like aesthetic and a dnb-like soundtrack

As a metroidvania? 7/10, good progression and exploration but gets confusing at some points, should also have an arrow pointing the direction Sybil is looking at in the map

As a 3D platformer? 9.5/10, almost perfect, some of the best movement i've ever had the pleasure of controlling and you can get really creative with skips and skill combinations. what keeps it from being perfect is the occasional unresponsiveness of the controls

As a dream-like aesthetic? 7.5/10, nothing super innovative but well executed and has a good variety of areas ranging from strange theater to flesh-like caves to abandoned cities, all with beautifully executed retro graphics which don't feel out of place at all. i did dislike the sameness of some areas though

As a soundtrack? 9/10, phenomenal mix of dreamcore, hyped drums and some castle music (the less good part). it was perfect for the sensation of each area and i'll definitely be listening to it outside the game!

As a story? 5/10, by far the weakest part of the game, but it isn't given much emphasis either. it's really just secondary to the aesthetic and gameplay. the ending was kinda dissapointing though

Character customization? 7/10, cool outfits (and ways of unlocking them) but too few have pants

Overall? 8/10, it's short and imperfect but it's also very fun and satisfying to explore and to play. it's the first 3D metroidvania i've ever played and the focus on platforming was also really gratifying. won't change your life or anything, but i easily recommend it to anyone who was a few hours to spare and likes this kind of game. you won't regret it!
