CS:GO Review
Fundamentally, CSGO is an exceptionally good game, in that what it truly is in its essence lends itself to highly skilful, competitive, and tactical gameplay very demanding of good teamwork, communication, leadership, and the ability to cultivate and maintain a positive, winning-mentality.

I don't believe the toxicity of a certain subset of the matchmaking community, for example, should reflect negatively upon the quality of the game. In reality, such toxicity reflects negatively upon toxic players themselves. Moreover, the fact that it's easy to become toxic, out of frustration, provides a challenge to players: overcoming that negative attitude and becoming a better teammate.

If you play this game seriously, it will teach you to think critically and soundly under pressure; to work with as opposed to against your teammates; to communicate important information clearly and concisely; to exercise discipline in maintaining a consistent practice schedule; to own your mistakes, revise what you did wrong and then improve; etc...

It's also humbling to realise that, even if you're ranked at Global Elite in matchmaking, there will always be players whose skills are superior to yours - and that there is always room for improvement.

This was a bit of an unnecessarily long review, but I'm just trying to get to the essence of what CSGO is and grade that.

I give it a 9.5/10.
