100% recommend this game, especially when on sale. The difficulty scales well, at least for single player runs. The variety of guns and equipment keeps the game interesting despite the maps being fairly static across the biomes.

Inscryption has been one of the best deckbuilders I've played in a while. The story is fantastic and the post-campaign mod adds a lot of replayability to the game. For anyone that enjoys games like Slay the Spire or Dominion, this is an extremely fun game. On sale it's easily worth it, but even off of the sale it's still a pretty good value for a 10-20 hour campaign with decent replay potential after completing it. Definitely go into the game blind without reading guides, reviews, etc. This game is one of a kind and I wish I could play it again for the first time. At the time of posting this I have 34 hours (realistically closer to 28 hours with how much I leave it up in the background), but can easily see myself spending another 20 hours on this game, if not more.
