I was able to play the game through Play Early 3 days in advance, so I can form an opinion despite servers being down.

The game itself is a huge upgrade from the previous installment. The gameplay is fun, interactive and entertaining. Obviously the servers are down, because they didn't expect this much traffic at launch (mostly because of Game Pass), but despite that, I don't understand why players aren't recommending this game. The overall gameplay is really good, worth the base game purchase at least. I've been playing PAYDAY 2 since 2016, pretty much enjoyed it it's whole life through and I'm hoping they are planning to release as many heists as in the previous game.
