Elegant, simple, beautiful. A definite recommend to any puzzle fan.

Great little rouge-lite card battler cross adventure puzzler that is much deeper than first brush reveals.

I absolutely love love LOVE this game but the animations are just too slow! Even at the fast animation speed it takes far longer to play a mission of digital Gloomhaven vs table Gloomhaven, and that just shouldn't be possible. I heartily recommend if they ever get a way to skip animations, but until then I'm a heart broken no.

A solid implementation of the Magic ruleset but extremely barebones. Quests seem to mostly be "win with a deck of these two colors" and even then, only if you use the simple deck building options, not if you use a custom deck of the required colors. The only special game mode is two-headed giant. No draft format. No info on what the rankings mean. No ability to chat or interact with your opponent in any way. No way to enforce time limits in play (I've had to concede games because my opponent seemingly walked away from their computer but didn't leave first). And if your opponent concedes? You have to beat an AI before you receive a win.

Plus, there seems to be a bug where your visible gold total doesn't update if you gain gold from more than one source at once, which is just shoddy coding.

If you want a cheap way to get in a few games of Magic, the price is pretty hard to beat. You can manage to get ~10 boosters from doing the tutorials and the story mode. But in a day and age when Hearthstone is showing everyone how to do an online digital CCG right, this is just a sad showing.

This is a perfect example of taking simplistic gameplay and extending it out into a wonderfully complex and engaging game. Can't recommend enough.
