I really had no idea what to expect from this game. I kind of expected it to be a rushed and cheaply made knockoff of open world games made popular by Grand Theft Auto. What I got instead was an incredibly well written game with characters that I genuinely find interesting. Their motivations make sense to you.

The humor is great. The writing is pretty much perfect. The combat is good. The story is amazing.

It starts off at around a 7.5/10 for the first two chapters.

Around chapter 4-6 it drops to about a 4/10 because it is pretty much nothing BUT boxing.

After you finish the last of the chapter where you're in prison, the gameplay, story, and action goes to 11/10.

Overall I would say it's a 9/10.

Not really a free roam. You jump from mission to mission and only get to explore the city during the mission, but since you're having so much fun it doesn't really matter.
