Knights of the Old Republic is not a game that would only satisfy Star Wars fans, nor should it be played by only them. It is one of the masterpieces of RPG genre. Whether you really know anything about Star Wars universe does not matter much. If you are a true follower of the genre, you should definitely play this game. This might also be your best ticket to get to know Star Wars universe.
