Netcode is pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Every time I try to play with friends there are at least 40 minutes of troubleshooting why we cannot connect to each other, with reboots, router reboots, DMZs, VPNs, firewalls and whatnot.
This time I couldn't even go online with shift, and guess what? whitout shift you can't join a friend with steam!
With a ZeroTier VPN LAN one of my friend could not see my server, but we could see each other computer effortlessly.

The game is ok if you don't care about DLC, which are way too many and cost way too much.

Stay away, buy Borderlands and Borderlands 2.
