If I could describe my feelings on this game in one sentence I'd say that I kinda hate this game, kinda love it.

It's a very addicting game, the soundtrack is really good, and I can see the inspirations from ROR2 and Vampire Survivors with it's large variety of items you can obtain. It's also got a decent variety of characters that you can play, they all have their own unique traits and appearances, but I think some definitely outshine others in both appearance and strength.

That being said.. it can get really frustrating, especially in the later Desert stage tiers, it kinda gets to the point where you have to follow the current meta just for a chance at beating it. You can also lose your run in really stupid ways, like an enemy spawning on top of you or accidently running into a boss attack cause you were moving too quick to stop, it's never really that serious though unless I have a really good run and you can still have a ton of fun without playing the tier 3 stages, as far as I know there isn't really anything locked behind having tier 3 completed other than a single character after completing Forest tier 3, so they aren't that necessary unless you really want the achievements and the character (even then it's only Forest tier 3 that has achievements so you can just completely ignore Desert tier 3).

One thing I should probably note is that the game has a lot of I guess pre-2020s humour that a lot might find cringe, saying things like "you ded, maybe him skill issue?", which I guess could piss some people off after losing a good run, I don't really care about it though so if you don't care about it either just ignore this bit.

For £8.50, I 100% recommend giving it a try. It's definitely worth it for the addicting gameplay and amazing soundtrack, especially if you've played ROR2 and Vampire Survivors before. I'm really excited to see what's in store for the future updates!
