Before I sat down and made a concerted effort to understand this game I had bounced off every other Total War title and thought the Warhammer Fantasy setting was boring and just a little bit silly. Then I crested the mountain and finally saw all the combination of the two had to offer. Assymetrical armies unrestrained by history and a rich setting of conflict between the forces of order and chaos, combined with beautiful visuals, deep systems, and an ocean of content have drawn me in to the exclusion of nearly every other game in my library. I have played as the Skaven and clawed my way to victory, I have marched across the world to herald the return of Nagash as Arkhan the Black, and I plan on continuing until I have conquered with every other leader available to me.
