In the time of kings
in the land of mystery,
all the strange things,
in our history.
The ideas we believed,
the thoughts we had,
gods were conceived,
for the power they add.
They brought despair,
they gave us hope,
they made us swear,
or helped us cope.
Great power they wield,
to fight off the dark,
they will not yield,
yet evil still leaves its mark.
