Certainly, if you have not played the first, do so before starting this one. This game is nothing short of another masterpiece by Moon Studios. Beautiful artwork, touching and riveting story, smooth and entertaining controls and gameplay.

Absolutely beautiful game with excellent gameplay, challenge, enemies, and story. Just get it, you will not be disappointed.

I cannot recommend this enough. I was never really into platforming games growing up but wow this is incredible.

First a disclaimer: this game deals with some very difficult, heavy and disturbing issues. I would not recommend to anyone who does not like, or doesn't want these things in a game. However...

This is one of the best story games I have ever played. The gameplay is unique and powerful, the art and style are excellent, and the story is incredible in its believability, its capacity for empathy, and its ability to make you feel incredibly happy, or rip your heart out. In a word...

Wow.......

Only if you enjoy solving puzzles ;P This mod is not enjoyable for the story (there really is none), nor can you enjoy the characters (the only character other than you is another core with an annoying American accent.. he's no Wheatley). The creators tried but failed to recreate the atmosphere that a portal game/mod should have. (In terms of story, Portal Stories: Mel was way better)

**HOWEVER** That said, the puzzles were excellent! The idea of using just the paint gun was a very out of the box idea that redeems this game. It is a completely new paradigm that one has to work with and makes the testing oh so good. If you enjoy testing (let's face it, you are looking at the reviews for a portal mod... of course you love testing) then this mod is a great extension to the portal world.

If you want a good story, this is a game for you. Be warned it is a walking simulator -- no significant interaction with your surroundings other than "Open door" -- however, the underlying story as well as the unique graphics provide a very intriguing and enjoyable playing experience. I would recommend Firewatch if you want a more casual, story driven playing experience.
