Unfortunately, although I have been looking forward to playing it for almost a year, I ended up dropping it after three coop gaming sessions.

The combat is very hard, which would be fine, but it's ultimately unrewarding, as that is not the way to make money in this game. That instead, according to my own experience and online forums, is endlessly grinding fishing and cooking.

That is simply not worth it for the time investment that the game, a game without fast travel mind you, proposes.

The gaming experience is mostly walking from point A to point B, fighting difficult battles against respawning enemies and getting ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for that. The few times you do get a big reward, that reward seems as powerful as the starting gear in action.

Quests barely pay out anything and don't ever pay out both people, which is unheard in any coop game I've played so far. Same for quest progression, which also doesn't happen for both players.

I got it on a sale, so not much is lost, but also I don't feel any need to start this game ever again.

I am a Supermassive Games apologist. So far if've had fun with all of their games to different degrees.

However, this one seems like a massive step backwards. Everything from the story, to the gameplay, to the interactions between characters is somehow worse. In addition to that a "Dead by Daylight" generator minigame has been added so many times, that I thought I was loosing my mind at the end.

There is nothing for you here, stay clear!

A very good puzzle and mystery game.

Expect puzzles and lots of clues, organised in your head per room for your convenience.
It took me a while to figure everything out and for one particular riddle I had to look up the solution to finish the game. I'm very glad I did finish it because otherwise I would have missed out on this great and touching story.

A good Star Trek story with a surprise return of a TNG frenemy from the first season. You alternately play the first officer and a low ranking crew man from the lower decks. The first comes with lots of ships politics and all the bridge stuff you know from the shows, the latter is the source of the much needed technobabble and hands on stuff.

It is the best Star Trek game I've played in a long while, as it nails the atmosphere and most of the writing of classic episodes. The optimism in the face of insurmountable odds, believing in the inherit value of life etc., all that good stuff sets the franchise apart from other sci fi franchises is here and it's as good as ever.

Luckily for the game I felt so positively about the general story and atmosphere stuff, that I can ignore the godawful gameplay. This is the first game that required me to twist my actual mouse for a quick time event. Even after switching to a controller it didn't get much better. The worst offenders are shuttle as well as shooting sections, but everything else doesn't fare much better and made me wish for more of a "walking simulator" approach.

Pick it up if you are into Star Trek, but be aware that the gameplay will test your patience.

An interesting game with a great asthetic, three playable characters and an engaging story.
The asthetic, especially in the later levels, reminds me of something HR Giger would dream up.

I played this game for the story and the characters and as such used the guide basically all the time. Playing this way was great for me, without the manual I would have gotten very frustrated at some points. I can only recommend being at least aware of the Manual, which contains all the information you'll ever need.

The only real Dealbreaker may be the constant AI art. I'm not a big fan of AI art myself and it is basically everywhere: From weirdly animated faces accompanying the countless (and mostly useless) notes that I never got used to, to the mumby jumbo of some sciency looking paperwork you can look at during the game. It's not something I like looking at and staring at it so often really reduced my enjoyement of the game.

A neat little horror/mystery game, really short but well worth the 4 bucks I paid for it.

The game itself does feel like the weird fever dream it's advertised to be. I still can't make heads or tails of the story but the experience was great anyway. I will definitely replay this one.

A good short horror game with great voice acting.
Without using monsters, chases or jumpscares the game still manages to create a very tense atmosphere.

An excellent game full of riddles, combat, fun characters and lots of typing.
On your journey through the Underland you are accompanied by the enigmatic and very entertaining cryptmaster, whos great dialoge really enhances the game.

The feeling is somewhere between a session of D&D and joking around with your friends.

While still being charming and well made it just didn't click with me like the original did.
Most of the story felt like a retread and I didn't much care about the new added themes.

That being said the dialoge and dialog system is still great.
If you really want to experience this yourself, at least wait for a sale.

I've had high hopes for this one. Unfortunately while it isn't the worst FMV game I've played so far, it isn't very good either. The story starts with an interesting premise, but ends up falling short.
While there are some fun moments, there is even less on the gameplay side as usually. Skip this one, especially for its asking price.
