10/10 the best horror game I have ever played.

If the thought of screaming rude things at ghosts intrigues you this is a must buy. However, I would recommend getting this with a friend or two, as having people there to help you not be a p*ssy and just makes it just 100X better.

Update 2023: game now runs like trash, they broke helicopters again, FPS has tanked, and they spent the last two months doing absolutely nothing but running this game into the ground, and trying to distract us with emotes that took 10 minutes each to make in unity.

game was alright when it was new, but its almost four years old and still has nearly ALL the issues it did when it was first released, all while still feeling incredibly janky.

The issues are minor and bearable at first; but as you start to expand and play the game more the terrible optimization, infuriating building system that is always trying to place parts in your face, terribly thought out inventory and item system that will leave you consistently stuck in small places with your dude repeatedly saying "HUH" because there isn't enough room to drop the item in your hand and pick up your tools to make more room, and a physical money system paired with the most glitchy vehicle and item physics I've ever seen in a game lead to an infuriating play through. In the last six hours of game play, I have had multiple hydro-quads seemingly lose all sense of gravity and float off to the sky-box with all my money on the back only to get them permanently stuck up there when I reload my save and not be recoverable because of their distance.

now with the Dev devoting their time to paid DLC, I honestly have no hope in these issues ever being fixed. this is just becoming a cash grab that they have put very minimal effort into actually improving over the last years.

community is super toxic but the game makes up for it

not very fun anymore, game seems dead.
