Soul Reaver is a classic and a game you definitely should seek to play if you are interested, but not this version.

I cannot recommend the Steam version for one simple reason: the port is broken and does not have any official support. It crashes right at the start on the most recent versions of Windows, and will only run by installing unnoficial patches which still won't make the game completely stable. Even if you manage to run it, the built-in gamepad support does not work properly, forcing you to install third party softwares to be able to use it.

Unfortunately this port is a mess, and in my humble opinion no one should put money on a port that had zero attention from the publisher.
