Early Access Review
This game unfortunately is very clunky and just does not feel good to play. This was a dealbreaker for me as it was just too janky. The UI is also a mess and not intuitive to use because for some reason the dev(s?) thought to not add a conventional tool bar like every other game. I can't comment on much else since I refunded it soon after starting it. I also played it with a friend who shared a similar opinion and also refunded so at least I'm not a one off opinion.

I just don't understand how this received 82% positive ratings when basic things like this are bad. Not trying to be overly harsh I hope they improve so I can rebuy the game since I like the concept a lot.

Hi Kubi,
Thanks for your feedback, I would love to know more what makes it feel clunky?

The game controls and movement received plenty of QOL. It was also shaped based on the community feedback.
- the player moves in the camera direction (is a default mode), later in the game gravity and gyroscope modes can be enabled
- remove of a single object requires pressing Ctrl+RMB, changed from RMB after players feedback of accidentally removing elements
- drag selection and drag construction is also intuitive and helpful. Depends on the item wall/floor/block you can drag lines or boxes
- also having a character floating above the ground helps to construct. It solves problems with other games placing buildings in front of you
- all hotkeys in the game are re-bindable!

In addition, you have many features missing in another titles like:
- middle mouse button to pick objects directly from the game
- state of every menu saved - so when you reopen it, it shows you tech tree and other menus exactly where you left it
- selected elements you can bring to blueprint designer by pressing B
- you can rotate multiple selected elements

The latest optimization also improved how smooth the game feels, so it's quite enjoyable on a Steam Deck. You should definitely give it a try!

The game has not only "conventional toolbar" where you can drag-drop items and blueprints, but also many, many QOL.
I wish you spend more time with the game, since many players are enjoying it, spending more than a thousand hours, including me. :)

Kind regards,
Tefel
