A very charming 8bit metroidvania. This has two main gimmicks: 1) being able to switch characters at any time each with different combat and navigation strengths, 2) death sending you back to the beginning of the level with some meta progression and map uncovered. This was great for the feeling of slowly mastering the level and uncovering secrets. It controls really well and has a decent length where teh game actually felt completable. Very delightful little game.

A very charming little survival game that thrives off its narrow scope. It really shines in very small group co-op because of how it forces you to work together. The game also has a very light, but charming little story. This is a great introduction to survival games and great couple's game. The biggest downside is kind of the same as most survival games is that it has a lot of basic tedium to keep yourself alive. But, this game also has a huge modding scene! So you can always download a few automation mods or adjust the sliders if this gets frusterating later in the game

A truly great little citybuilder game. I really appreciated that it came in kind of bite size chunks compared to many city builders so you could actually get a lot out of a play session. It also is just dripping with amazing theme. This will be a classic.

Actually finished this game! I really liked it, cute and short, and not too difficult but good solid game design. Like a little mini Hollow Knight appetizer. Very satisfying to play through.. A great in game hint system made the secrets not too tedious.

Wow... I can not stop sobbing. Not often does a game make me feel like this.

Fabulous little co-op game. Like a Less frusterating keep talking and nobody explodes.

Very cute Escape Room / Point and click adventure. Highly recommend!

This game is great! In a lot of ways I like it more than Slay the Spire. The in-fight gameplay has a lot more tactical options deciding where and how to play your cards among the three floors. Creating a depth of execution of your deck not always present in deck builders. Also the social features are a nice step up.

I really don't like open-ended crafting games like Minecraft.. But something about Factorio really got me. It actually helped reignite my love of programming. The drive to plan, optimize, debug, improve is a very satisfying loop in Factorio. I can't wait for it to get some sort of campaign and dive back in all over again.

I like this game.. Its kind of like if Factorio and a Zachlike had a baby.. And its still a baby. More limited in scope, easier, less polished, more focused. Has the nugget of something that could be really great in there. Can't wait to see their next game!
