Doom is my favorite game of all time. I've been playing Doom since Doom came out, and I've bought it dozens of times for various platforms. This is by far the definitive edition. It works perfectly on Steam Deck (despite saying it doesn't). The remastered soundtrack is is incredible, the gameplay is perfect (its Doom, how could it not be) and in addtion to all of the official expansion packs from the past 30 years comes with a brand new one. The compendium or whatever is awesome and I spent like 20 minutes looking at all the development sprites.

My only complaint is that it crashed once, and there was some bugginess with player colors in deathmatch. Other than that it's perfect. If you're on the fence, just get it.
