As a 32-year-old man, I started this game knowing only that you control two characters at a time. What I did not realize was how much of a treat I was in for. I played this game with my steam controller, one brother for each pad and it went fine, all the way through with no problems at all. The game, though not of modern AAA quality, still looks great. Lending a slight toon like atmosphere. Trolls and giants, spider women and human sacrifice, this game has it all.

The story revolves around the two brothers attempting to save their father by collecting an elixir made by one specific tree. The younger brother, afraid of the water and much smaller, had witnessed their mother's death, being too weak to save her. This is the driving factor in the brother NEED to save their father.

This game made me cry, literally. The way, at the end, after the older brother, is killed by the spider queen. The devs make you bury your brother. It is excruciatingly slow as you lower him into his grave and slowly pile the dirt on top of his body. When you make it back home, a small epilog starts. This is where the younger brother, without the support of his brother, has to traverse the very same short area leading to your house from the beginning of the game. This time, when you need to swim, you use the left trigger, that was your brothers interact button, not yours but it works for his actions anyways, such a nice touch! The way the father breaks down at the end, being a father myself, it really did make it feel like his emotion was beamed right into you.

BUY THIS GAME! We need these guys to make a bunch more games!

Here, this might be what you wanted to see. This is missing all of the classic old school gaming I do on emulators and on realhardware over the years. I have also played assassin's creed 3 and 4 all the way and those were really good. I also just recently, in the last 6 months, discovered I actually kinda like minecraft, and I can play that with my son for HUGE amounts of time. I even run a server in our living room that runs our minecraft world. All of that won't be represented there in that list.:steamhappy:

OOooh, that's a solid question. Well, I haven't played much recently in general. I think over the years if Steam had tracked my Oblivion gameplay that would likely be close to the highest playtime of any game I have ever played. SO like Skyrim, Oblivion, Borderlands 1/2, Satisfactory, I played the living F*** out of Sonic all stars racing transformed, I played a lot of ESO and Slime rancher... Then you have the stuff that really isn't representative of my typical preferences. Like I have 440 hours in Goat simulator. Like, I bought that when my son was 2.5 years old and most of that time was him alone and maybe 100 of that was two-player with him, he is 7 now. BloonsTD6, I have 90 hours in, we like to play one or two rounds most evenings after I get off work and RIGHT before he goes to bed just because of its mindless and simple.

Man, I was just looking at your games list sorted by play time to get a feel for what are your favorites. You have so many games that steam I guess can't load that information properly. What do you think are your top 10 on steam?
