I don't like a lot of the design decisions in the game. The difficulty is completely artificial. I build some tool with resources I farmed and it holds 1-2 minutes until it breaks and I have to farm more. I ate a full watermelon and a pineapple which gave me enough food for maybe 2-3 minutes of playtime. How much do I have to eat a day? 50 kg? I expected shark infested waters, instead I get one shark that seems to be glued to my raft all the time. Everything just seems made to annoy you instead of more realistic challenges.
In a survival game I want to have rare food resources but they should be fittingly satiating. If I farm to make a tool it should at least be usable for a while. And I want to have to watch the waters to find time frames with no sharks around to go a bit off the raft instead of having one glued to it. And 1-time-use anchors? Really?
The game might be better later but I ain't gonna fight through stupid chores and challenges that only want to annoy me to find out.

Take this review as a "not for me" instead of a negative. This game is beautiful, stunningly so. But the gameplay is VERY slow and tedious. Too slow and repetitive for me. Fetch 3 of item x and combine it with y then use it on z. Not much thinking required in the parts I played; of course this might change in later parts of the game.

I still would recommend this game for people that want a game like a fairy tale book. Like I said, it's very pretty, the story is shaping up to be interesting with many people and creatures that seem well crafted. I would like to know what will happen with different characters but after playing the game for more than 1 1/2 hours I just know it's too slow for me. The game rewards me not enough to make me invest another ten minutes with collecting more items across the map, just so I can experience the next (fairly interesting) story snippet.

Small Puzzle Quest-like game. Fun, good gameplay and more than worth the money. Doable achievs that don't feel like a chore. Super-generous return policy. What are you waiting for ;)

A game for all those times you want to waste 10 minutes in a good way.
