2023 RPG OF THE YEAR!

So much depression between the bouts of great gameplay. If you want a depressing story this is it.

This game checks all my boxes for what makes a perfect game!

1. Hogwarts exploration
2. Broom riding
3. I don't have a lot of boxes

But if that's what you're interested in this game for, you're going to be happy. Now if only I didn't have to do all this running around talking to people about some geriatric magic from the days of the Sumerians I can get back to my broom flying.

Sort of simplified Metroidvania. Compelling story that plucks the heartstrings and decent replayability. Good ♥♥♥♥.

^^^^ This is the reason i love this game so much.

Decided to refund this almost immediately.

No pros or cons section as I don't have quite near enough experience in the game for it.

I did experience, in the prologue no less, a game breaking glitch right off the bat.

In the area where they have you planting a mind near a dead body, I preformed my task. Then I was to run towards another yellow marker. However I took a slight detour to the left to explore my surroundings for a bit. The screen fell black then all of a sudden I found myself falling through the ground into death.

That wouldn't have been too much of a problem. I can live through glitches such as these. The problem came when every time I tried to restart my checkpoint, I found myself falling through the ground again. And again. And again. etc. to the point of forcing me to restart the whole mission.

Instead I am deciding to get out while I can. If that happens in the prologue, whos to know when and where it'll happen halfway through the game? The game looked promising but I don't want to deal with that headache.

Horrible Horrible Horrible.

I can't add a pros/cons section because you have to be allowed to even play the game before you can figure those out.

Out of the 15 times I've booted the game up, I've made it to the menu screen twice. 2 of out 15 attempts...What the hell is that?

I feel like I need to go get a script for some seizure meds the way the game flickers as soon as you boot it up. I feel like I need some Aleeve over how long it takes me to alt-tab out of the piece of crap game.

If this wasn't a free copy wish Odyssey I would surely be refunding it immediately. Now I get to see that ugly title forever displayed in my library as a reminder of how badly a triple A company can royal F up something that shouldn't have been.

Maybe there will be a patch that fixes this issue but until then it gets a big fat plffffffffbt

easily the most amazing Assassin's Creed game I've ever played. I didn't think they could do any better than Black Flag but they proved me wrong.

Not a single glitch which is a feat since Ubisoft is known for a slew of them in every game they make.

Smooth 60fps at 1440p on a 1080ti

Constant dev support. I've seent them pushing patches out that provide a whole host of QOL changes and they plan on more to come. I plan on playing again once they bring the NG+ patch.

The current day story could've used better writing but outside of those few hours everything else was perfect. Perfect blend of seriousness and comedy.

What happened to Square Enix between XII and XIII? THIS is what a Final Fantasy game should be like. I steadied myself in case I was just looking through drunk nostalgia goggles but it was all that I remembered and even better.

The 4x speed is an amazing tool and other games JRPG's should adopt it. Even still I put a good 70 hours into the game doing absolutely everything. Could've been well over 100. Not that that's a bad thing.

Buy this game. Is good.
