This game is hollow. Beneath the stylish aesthetic, well-designed characters, and that gorgeous San Francisco sunshine, you will find zero personality. Please don't buy this game. For the price, there are so many other better experiences out there- better action games, better stealth games, better RPGs, even better hacking games.

Pros:

Game looks beautiful, particularly when driving.

Hacking skills and tactics are cool, bamboozling the enemy is satisfying.

Genuinely profound commentary on corporate interference, privacy violations, and big tech abuse.

Wrench.

Cons:

The story is so... nothing. Villain is generic, several plot elements end without warning or are never pursued. Several mechanics just have zero purpose (why have lethal and nonlethal weapons when there is no morality or karma system?) Strange, cringeworthy dialog... you aren't playing this for the story.

World is empty and meaningless. None of the many restaurants, pawn shops or clothing stores have unique items or services. All the world does is take up space between you and various interactive objectives.

Boring, repetitive quests. Go here, hold "e" on this object. That's 60% of the game.

This is just me personally, but I hate Key Data. Essentially, if you want to unlock certain skills in the skill tree, you have to find key data in certain locations throughout the map. The placement of these items are totally arbitrary. There was no reason to add key data other than to pad the game out and make unlocking skills a slow, grindy experience.

Most weapons aside from the grenade launchers and shotguns lack impact.

This is such a nothing game. A really cool, stylish first 20 hours and a fun last 5 hours, and the most boring, meaningless 30+ hours in between. Play Orwell, Metal Gear, Hitman, any of those. Just do yourself a favor and don't buy this game. I played it so you don't have to.
