One of the best action rpgs around, got me into the entire franchise. Dmc5 has the cleanest combat of all the main line games, it may seem a little clunky at first especially since the game starts you off as Nero but once you get the hang of the controls and learn extra moves it plays like butter and most mistakes feel like they are your fault. The best feeling is coming to a stage you had trouble with and breezing through and even being able to add style with taunts and flashy moves.

The game is a bit of a pain to 100% having to S rank on all difficulties especially in hell and hell and Dante must die where it is almost necessary to take no hits in some stages. the bloody palace with no super costumes seems to be a better test of skill/mastery. But if you don't mind some repetition its a fun experience.

Also Vergil is in this game so must buy by default.
