Constant GPU crashes with an Nvidia 3080 GPU. What a horrendous optimization team

Game crashes if you party up with a squad of 3+ people/

Game is as broken as can be. No wonder why they dropped the price tag to free because the game doesn't even work. Steam downloads a garbage launcher and then the launcher makes you download a large amount of data that cant even utilise your full download speed. Then you wait to get into the game and then you have to download more garbage which may or may not work. Name change works but doesn't progress through the game.

Game has several bugs, glitches, performance issues. Game is fun but I would wait for a) a sale or b) to see if the devs actually fix the issues this game has.

Dying Light 1 is better than 2. Skills sometimes have vague descriptions, parkour is very floaty and inconsistent.

Almost 40 minutes in and I've already encountered a game breaking bug. This is essentially just an asset flip. These developers should not get any support from gamers, they need to find a different occupation as they don't focus on making a quality game. I'd rather play Internet Cafe Simulator 1 if you would like to try this game series out. Better if you download it from somewhere else.

I bought the Ultimate Edition on sale for about $100 CDN. I can't recommend the base game as it doesn't feel like an $80 game, the price for when it's not on sale, nor does it feel like a $60 game, the game at roughly 30% off. It feels like a $30-40 game. However, if you do buy the game as it is overall fun during your first playthrough I would recommend waiting until DLC is out to see if you need the annual pass to get future maps. If so the deluxe or ultimate edition isn't bad if it's on sale. I believe it's $20 more for the deluxe and you get the annual pass which is $40 on its own. If you're into customization or exclusiveness the ultimate isn't bad either. It includes a full coloured emblem and a unique background for your profile.

The game itself is fun. Feels like a good singleplayer game. Gameplay is good, graphics are good, and there is what seems to be a good storyline and score. However, I can't recommend the game at full price on day one. There is a severe stuttering issue, for me and what seems to be a good amount of players. For reference, I am running the game on essentially ultra (1440p) on an RTX 3080 paired with a Ryzen 7 5800X and 32GB RAM @ 3600Mhz. Game is loaded on an nvme ssd and I am on Nvidia's 471.96 driver. I do recommend buying it on Steam and seeing if you're experience is good. If not, I would refund it and wait until it is fixed or if you can get it on sale.
