Very fun little Roguelite that gives you some interesting character options and really lets you play out your He-man/She-ra childhood fantasies.

I love this game. I've played it a ton. Recently it got some new issue where the UI is tiny, and my resolution is somehow messed up. I've done the research, I've read the forums. None of the proposed solutions work. This is a known issue, and has been for at least 6 years from what I've seen. This bug has rendered the game unplayable. Unless this is somehow fixed, I can't play the game anymore, and by extension can't recommend it to anyone else.

This game is great. So many fun weapons and spells, insane stats. The world is insane, and the tone is dark, but it never feels too hard. Unless you want to make it harder, which is an option.

If you like Sonic for its characters, play this game. It's fun, it's funny, and the characters are incredibly charming in this game.

This game is a neat mix of horror and shooter. It is just scary enough to make you tense, but then as soon as the shooting starts it is pure fun. The combat is so varied, with so many tactics to handle every situation and enemy. And the game also has a bunch of old school style secrets that reward exploration, and really combing through the levels. I'm not one for horror games, so I definitely struggled with some parts of this game, but the whole experience was incredibly worthwhile.

This game is really good. It's held back from being great by poor quality of life. You need to switch forms constantly in this game, and have a quickswap feature to help with that. But you have no control over that quickswap menu. It displays only your 8 most recent forms, rather than your favorites, and if you switch to something not currently in your quickswap menu, it replaces the least recent form from that menu. So you have no control over a feature meant to help keep up the flow of the gameplay. In fact, it hurts the game's flow by switching the locations of your forms in the menu, so you can't even rely on muscle memory.

In a game like this, this is an absurd oversight that people have been calling for a fix for since its release. Until such a fix gets added, I can't recommend this game.

This game is fantastic. Its lighthearted and funny, but also just dark enough to not lose track of the stakes. I love the characters, and the art style is fantastic. I love where the story went, and I'm really hopeful to see more in the future. Keep an eye on this developer studio. They're a good one.

I backed this game on Kickstarter, and I've been looking forward to playing it for months. This game is really good, honestly, but does have some flaws. For starters, it's honestly pretty easy. You can gain health pretty quickly, and your enemies just can't really keep up, save for boss fights. But there's also the fact that enemies don't respawn. That's an intentional choice, and makes enemies into a sort of collectible, but it's worth noting that it makes exploration pretty easy and safe, as you can just leave a fight to go heal, and when you come back, everything you've killed stays dead.

Next thing is slight spoilers

There's an area of the game defined by being pitch black, and you need a light source to navigate. Those sections are always annoying to me, but in this game, your light source follows behind you, rather than being centered on you, and can sometimes just fly off in the wrong direction. It makes that section really annoying and tedious, as you have to take two steps, de-summon and re-summon your light to center it on yourself, take two steps, and repeat.

Overall, I would say the game is a lot of fun, and for how short and straightforward it is, it could be great for challenge and speedruns if that's your thing.

This game doesn't respect your time. I know, it's an MMO, they take time. This one is different. Above all else, you have to do the Main Story Quests, and there are a ton of them in the base game. Too many, in fact. The devs had to go back later and remove a bunch of them and change how they work, because the experience was so bad, it turned away new players. But it wasn't enough. Between the base game and the first expansion, they needed to keep players occupied. They did this with a year's worth of busywork quests, and after going through removing quests, they removed 20 of these post-game quests. But that still leaves you with 80 quests, most of which send you to random places all over the world just talking to NPC's. I can't stress enough that the Vast majority of these post-game quests (which, again, are all before the First expansion, of three so far, with a fourth on the way), are just going through loading screens and talking to NPC's.

This game is gorgeous. The combat is fun. The classes are varied, and interesting to use. But the experience of playing this game is often a miserable slog.
