Now, I bought this game not thinking much, never really been into ponies, but it was cheap and I wanted something relaxing. Gotta say, I'm surprised, here's the in depth review:

Pony creation: Creating your Pony is fun, intuitive and a quick process. There are lots of customisation options to choose from, a whole colour wheel, you can even use a JPEG or PNG file as an emblem on your Pony. When it comes to naming them, it's a bit strict with what isn't allowed or not, but since you'll see other people's pony's online and this game has children and families in mind, I think that's a good choice.

World: The world is bright and colourful, lots of fun and interesting things to find. I was expecting something dull and basic assuming this was made for children, but no, it's extremely well designed with plenty of content.

Mini-games: There are several mini-games to play, the first of which is a fence jumping mini-game, sounds boring but it gets quite tricky and builds up experience for your Pony for it to become a race pony later on. It throws in some unexpected little obstacles to keep things interesting. The other mini-games include: {4893-::"?£@£)!££K:SDEL££(S9d39d39dsodll{

It's a neat experience, getting a lot of social life spot on back for us who grew up with instant messenger. There are a few cool features like choosing your display picture, which actually makes Emily comment on it, which is a nice little touch.

The only problem I have is that no matter what you do or say it doesn't seem to make a difference at all. The text is 95% the same and your relationships with Emily, Mike and Emma all go the same way no matter what. Which makes it feel like nothing really matters. I don't have a problem nomrally in games because the choice is normally hard, but on this game the choices really just seem to be 'I like you.' 'Let's just be friends' and 'Not Really'. But it's not really a hard choice because Emily is the only character you talk to in this game, so if you want your character to be with someone, you're most likely going to choose her, if not you'll probably just be friends. But those big choices don't really do anything at all.

All in all, I can understand what the intention was, obviously to be quite a depressing story about a guy who never really tells girls how he feels about them, which I could relate to a lot. So I'll recommend the game for how much effort was put into making it feel nostalgic.

Perfectly simulates the experience of showering with your dad. It brought back all those great memories of when my dad was using his pneumatic drill in the shower and I'd get in with a power drill and join him. However, it did bring back some bad memories, like the time I slipped on the puddle on the floor and ended up in the shower with Phil, the creepy neighbour.

Now you might be thinking... Matching a dad with your skin colour/hair colour? What about dads who adopt? Don't worry, they have considered this! Adoption is fully represented in this game. Some of you might also say 'But there are people with two dads, this game is homophobic!' Don't worry, that is also considered and included in the game. And nothing screams political correctness quite like shooting down all the whites and rescuing the blacks in your flying bathtub.

But hey, I'd better stop here, I don't want to spoil every surprise this game throws at you, and trust me, it throws a lot at you. Just when you think you've seen everything the game has to offer it gives you something completely unexpected and makes the fun last much longer than you would expect.

It's only 79p, so you might as well.

Telltale's The Walking Dead video game series is my favourite part of The Walking Dead franchise, lots of people don't understand what makes it so great, or just assume it's not too good because they watched someone else play it on Youtube and think that's the same thing as playing it. However, they need to experience it for themselves - sure, at times the choices don't seem to matter a great deal regarding outcome, but the thing that makes the choices great is just how hard they are to make. You can tell just by the other players' choices at the end of each episode just how brilliant they are because the majority of the choices are split pretty close to 50/50 - getting close to that with every episode as the choices become harder and harder to make.

This is an immervise and dramatic interactive experience, there isn't a whole lot of gameplay in the traditional sense, there's some small areas to look around in at times, there's a lot of dialogue to choose and there are a few quick time events - but overall not a whole lot. I don't think this makes it a bad thing, it works, it's enough to make you feel like you're there.

For those of you who think that the choices don't matter, this game is a lot better than the first for choices. Not only are most of the choices harder, but they also do change things more. For example, a choice in the first episode makes the first 20 or so minutes of the second episode completely different. More people can survive depending on your choices, it isn't just a choose one or the other thing this time around. Also, the biggest thing of all is that there are multiple different endings to the season, all brilliant in their own right - not just one like the first game.

Please play this game if you care about storytelling in video games, because this is one of the finest games for that.

Boring... The only interesting parts of the game is the boss fights, but it's such a chore to get to them. I'm on normal mode and almost every enemy is just pressing buttons until they die without really any strategy. You just fight enemies in an arena and the arena isn't even very interesting to look at. There's been like 2 different enemies (not counting re-coloured hard modes). I wish I could just skip to the boss fights.
