they fixed the lighting
while the gameplay is still waiting for things to happen, a lot of frustration has been taken out due to the fixed lighting. playing on the outdoor camp/cabin maps before was extremely annoying, and that's a huge improvement
i didn't think they'd change the lighting that they purposefully made worse from launch, but here we are


old review (negative): i've played this game a lot and the novelty has worn off big time, the gameplay gets dull and frustrating very quickly
waiting for a ghost to write in a notebook isn't fun or engaging
staring at a monitor for 20 minutes to see if a ghost is a D.O.T.S. ghost, ruling it out, then finding out you were wrong isn't fun
the horrible horrible horrible lighting ruins immersion and is frustrating to play with
did i mention the waiting? half of the evidences are just waiting for the ghost to do something its so boring

tl;dr 90% of the gameplay is waiting for the ghost to do something
