its alright, i think the steam score is inflated because of the damn raccoon

i actually really like this game

probably the best incremental game i've ever played

not including the playstation account and country lock stuff, the playerbase for this game has got to be the whiniest group of gamers like ever. i genuinely feel bad for the devs, they're extremely dedicated and love this game, more than the people who play it apparently

they fixed the lighting
while the gameplay is still waiting for things to happen, a lot of frustration has been taken out due to the fixed lighting. playing on the outdoor camp/cabin maps before was extremely annoying, and that's a huge improvement
i didn't think they'd change the lighting that they purposefully made worse from launch, but here we are


old review (negative): i've played this game a lot and the novelty has worn off big time, the gameplay gets dull and frustrating very quickly
waiting for a ghost to write in a notebook isn't fun or engaging
staring at a monitor for 20 minutes to see if a ghost is a D.O.T.S. ghost, ruling it out, then finding out you were wrong isn't fun
the horrible horrible horrible lighting ruins immersion and is frustrating to play with
did i mention the waiting? half of the evidences are just waiting for the ghost to do something its so boring

tl;dr 90% of the gameplay is waiting for the ghost to do something
