One of the best total war games of the franchise for sure. It has had its fair share of issues and there are still many parts of it that i would want to change, but there are mountains of content and hours of entertainment to be had when playing.
the Dlc is some of the best seen from a total war game, with Empire divided, Ceasar in Gaul and Hannibal at the gates being prime examples.
the combat is fun, with the graphics being very visually appealing.
the army system of this game leaves a lot to be desired as the armies needing a general in order to be moving around seems a little odd given how things were like at the time it is set, but for this game it still seems to work pretty well.
id recommend this game for people getting into the franchise and also to people who are interested in the times of Ancient Rome.
the mods for this game are also excellent, give the game a fresh look and feel.
