I recommend this game fully, the gameplay's fun while still keeping the mechanic on how the first game's stratagems work, you're able to control to some extent how long you last against hordes of automatons or bugs. Movement's pretty good and everything in general works well as well as it feels pretty optimized and performs amazingly (at least for me honestly). Gunplay's pretty simple and easy to pick up as it doesn't get crazy and you get this sick dodge where you can aim WHILE dodging, this goes with throwing grenades, tossing stratagems, or shooting your weapon. I haven't had any issues regarding the game itself. It comes with two progression routes (or battle passes) which are honestly pretty do-able without having to pay, as well as in-game purchases for armor that have their own stats not to crazily change up gameplay but just to add a tiny little booster while you're on the battlefield. *You definitely don't have to spend money*, but the in-game exchange for super credits with IRL money isn't all that bad either, it's pretty good. Playing Solo will kick your ass but it's entirely do-able and even challenging fun in its own way (that's from my personal experience) but its also 10 times funner with friends or even just randoms that join up. You can make private lobbies if you want though. Overall I really like this game and it scratches my personal itch of chaos and the battles that contribute to a goal everyone's working towards regardless how you play.

I'm posting this as a review for the game separate from connectivity issues.

The connectivity issues come from not having enough servers for the influx of players coming in, I feel like they weren't expecting it to pop off like it did given how the first game was. The first game was amazing, but it was kept a little on the downlow in my opinion and didn't come to PC till months later, meaning it was easier to manage since it was just kept to one console. It should be stated that you won't get in immediately currently, but possibly a little later on, getting in will not be as much of an issue. Also please be aware, they're pretty good at keeping in contact and are probably working on it as best they can.

If you pick up this game and get in, you're in for some fun. Enlist in the fight for liberty today (or later)!
