Feels very much like 1 and 2 remasters but better. Very functional and customizable UI, very nice graphics and music. Gameplay-wise it has the vibe of the old ones which is great and that's the most important thing to me. Campaign plot feels a little bit off, kinda cringe, too much emotional bs and stuff. It's not very long - about 8h and now so epic. That's quite disappointing. 1 and 2 were more dark and mysterious and that fitted way better to that universe. New game mode is interesting, it's fun to adjust your fleet to your playstyle with artifacts aka passive bonuses. Optimization sucks in some missions for some reason but I've noticed huge fps drops in 3 of them so far, seems like the game can't handle bigger background objects like the planet surface during the opening mission. Overall it's ok, just waiting for optimization fixes and new factions.
