CS:GO Review
I'm usually a pretty lonely person.. well, I was until the CS:GO store page read "37 friends already own this game". And I know, like, none of them in real life. Well, maybe like, two. But you get my point.
If you don't have this game, there are a few reasons, and I will tell you if you should get it (very honestly):
You play CoD: I played CoD, too, and then my friend bought me this game. I gave up and said "Nah, screw this. I hate this!" so I went back to CoD. But after a while of playing CoD, I wanted something more competitive and difficult. So I played this. And I practiced and practiced and practiced. I did fool around a bit (hence my Silver IV rank right now) but I'm slowly clawing my way up. So if you want to dedicate yourself to a game, choose this one. If you want to waste time and you don't like playing games seriously, do not get this.
You're a small child (11 or under): Don't get this right now. It is just going to be hell. People will make fun of you if you have a mic, and even if you don't, the physics/gun sprays will be difficult to understand. Plus, you're like, a kiddo. People curse on this game a lot. You're probably better off on CoD until you're a bit older.
You don't play video games a lot: I expect this to be rare, but if you're the kind of person who just got into gaming and you just got Steam or something, then sure, why not. But it will take quite a bit of practice. It is good to start on this, though, and not CoD or something. So go ahead!
Overall, I enjoy this game now. I've made a bunch of friends through it and I really enjoy ranking up. Ranking up is fun.
I just want to talk about CS:GO economy and skins. It's amazing, really. A game created its own little stocks-and-bonds system of investing in skins and selling them for a profit. Right now, I have two SSG 08 | Abyss skins, one I bought at $0.10 and I'm hoping to make a profit of at least 5 cents. If you need some stocks practice, use this. It's amazing and fun.
Edit: I think CS:GO should win the "Just 5 More Minutes Award" for the 2016 Steam Awards because it's one of those games that you can't stop playing. Frankly, I get enragingly furious at this game every day but I always come back. Sometimes I wonder why, but then I play a game with my friends, and we win, and I remember.
