The game itself is great. The problem is with this "remaster"...

Aside from some characters and enemies models, the rest seems to be the same low graphics stuff we had in 1998. In some places, like Deling City, you can see actual npcs being represented as background graphics on maybe 180p resolution. So this thing can hardly be called a remaster.

You can still get the old steam version and install some mods, like Project Rebirth and Project Eden, and it'll look much better than what we get here. You'll also be able to play the Chocobo World minigame, which was removed in the remaster. It's really optional, but it does have some unique items to it.

This game might be doable if you need to play it on a console. But for PC, just get the old version and fill it with the excellent graphics mods avaliable.

I play this game ever since DotA 1... from around 2008 or so.

I got into dota 2 on January 2012, by getting a beta key from a lottery in playdota forums.

After that time went by and I started loving this game and putting a lot of dedication (and money, of course) on it.

Believing this was something worth my effort, I also learned how to commend and report other players for things worth being punished. And was really successful all these years.

Now recent changes on the report system can make people report you in "gameplay", which may include "disruptive gameplay".

So I've had 2 really bad matches and got reported over BAD PLAYING. Since I knew how the report system works I knew I was safe because having a bad match is no reason to be punished by the game, right?

Wrong. I got a 4 hour ban over 7 gameplay reports.

So now the dota report BOT works exactly as some social media bots: quantity over quality. No single review if I was really tring over wanting to throw the match was made.

And so, all hail the toxic community Valve has just reinforced.

Excellent game. A fine reboot for the Prince games. Atmospheric, with a great combat system and breathtaking scenery.

The history goes as the Prince steals a dagger that can controls time and uses it to release the sands of time, unleashing a plague upon his world. He nows tries to undo his mistakes.

A must have for action-adventure fans.

This game is kind of an "upgrade" to the first one in the series. It has a better combat system and new movements.

But this has also a plethora of game-breaking glitches that you can't do anything about other than RESTARTING THE WHOLE GAME.

The most annoyning ones happen just before the end of the game, which is incredibly frustrating.

There may be some game guidelines or walkthroughs to follow closely so you avoid these bugs. But seeing as how this game got so many rereleases and this has never been fixed, I would just warn people to stay away from it.

This is the best classic-style Sonic game ever. Period.

That being said, this game was treated with a lot of care and love. It has a lot of references to old Sonic games, including Master System ones, and a lot of polishing and new stuff due to the new technologies.

It's really satisfying and you should play this game even if you're not used to the old Sonic titles.

As for the Denuvo DRM, most of the things people say here about it are false and have no true proof to their claims. You can now play offline if you log on it the first time being online, and the game will run normally everytime.

This port is almost flawless, and the game is incredible all the same.

The game takes place right after Soul Reaver 2 and you control both Kain and Raziel, both with it's own abilities and quirks. The combat system is the best of all the series and very competent. The camera, on the other hand, is the worst: it's fixed and semi-panoramic, and it's annoyning most of the times. Despite this, it has a very competent history that solves many of the questions from the previous games (except that filler BO2, stay away from that thing), but, in my opinion, it's not a real closure for this franchise. But I cannot spoil here.

It's probably the best game of this franchise.

This game is a disgrace in every way...

First of, the stotyline is in no way related to the Legacy of Kain franchise timeline. It is instead a "filler", that resurrects key characters and take away the medieval-gothic setting to an industrial "victorian england"-like time. Which makes no sense since this is supposed to take place before Soul Reaver 1. So everything that happens in this game is pure bulls***, nowhere being close to "official".

Secondly, the game is ugly and the controls are a joke. The simplicity and linearity of this game makes me feel like I'm playing a Tomb Raider for the Playstation 1, while this is "supposedly" a PS2 game. Except, of course, those PS1 Tomb Raiders where a lot more non-linear than this "railtrack".

This game was made by a different team other than the Amy Henning, and so this piece of crap was born. Stay away from this!

This runs much better on newer pcs than SR1. I still got crashes from time to time, but they were very few and manageable.

As for the game itself, this is a nice sequel, considering the story of the Soul Reaver branch of the Legacy of Kain series was dramatically changed just months before the game's release. It follows the new story that was made by the author and makes a connection to both BO2 and Defiance.

Sadly, it's a really linear game in comparison to other games of this franchise. But an improvement in gameplay from it's predecessor nonetheless.

I'm not entirely sure if I should really recommend this game... read on to understand.

This is a PSX game that was ported to PC in 1999, and therefore there are a lot of problems in running old PC games in windows 10. This game is locked into fullscreen, does not support ximput controllers (unless you use software mapping for directimput) and does not support a lot of resolutions as well. There are also sound problems, like sfx and music just stopping from time to time.

But the patch made by the user Wrace fixes most of these stuff. Still, there's a high chance the game just crash when alt-tabbing (like when you need to browse a guide for the game) or when exiting any movie. And really close to the end of the game you get like 6 movies, one after another, and it's way ahead of the teleport/save point you need to get there. This means there's a high chance of the game crashing at this point and you lose a LOT of progress.

The patch, though, has a menu that can be used to skip this session completely (and other neat stuff/cheats as well).

Since this is a game I'm really found ever since I played it for PSX, and the user patch fixes many of these compatibility problems, I am checking the "recommend" button. Just keep in mind you will still get some crashes from time to time as this is an old game and the patch is not perfect. If you can, you should prefer playing the PSX version.

This game is a masterpiece. Was alreay great at the time it was released for Master System, but this remake fixes most (if not all) unbalanced things, like enemies pushing you back one screen without you being able to dodge it.

Also the art and music are simply amazing. And there's a few more new content in this one. Worth every penny. Get it even if you didn't knew the Master System version.
