I didn't play this extensively through Steam but if you check my achievements, I had Datascape on farm back when it was the highest raid tier (prior to Redmoon Terror and the Prime level system). My total playtime on my Stalker alone was over 90 days according to /age before the shutdown.

Wildstar will remain as one of my all-time top MMOs, however, it did have it's flaws that kept it from reaching it's full potential.

Pros:
- Extremely fluid movement/combat system with stuff like real-time actions to break out of stuns, also ways to stun a target to get a moment of opportunity to do more damage for a brief period to them.
- Great art style; unique in a world of MMOs trying to look realistic or anime, though not to everyone's tastes.
- Raids and dungeons were some of the best I've experienced in an MMO; this is coming from someone who has played RuneScape, MapleStory 1 and 2, World of Wacraft, TERA, Rift, Runes of Magic, Guild Wars 2, Elder Scrolls Online, and more. The raids were fun, fast-paced and engaging. Lots of mechanics to deal with and strategies to overcome a fight. Some cheese strats were eventually found, but doing them the proper way was highly satisfying on your first kill.
- Housing; probably the best player housing system on the market. Addons allowed you to scale things up more than it should have been possible to create unique and interesting places to explore and see.
- Crafting was pretty fun with overcharging and choosing components to tweak the stats to your liking. I found it fun after initial confusion on how it worked.

Cons:
- Game had very bad optimization issues; running the default UI and not replacing it with addons would cause FPS drops. I heard AMD users suffered hard as well which hurt the game a lot.
- Server issues; they tried a community event before f2p launch and it crushed the servers to a standstill almost. Launch and f2p launch were also plagued with lag and server problems for a very long period which killed a lot of the initial impressions.
- End-game systems like itemization and runes were horrible and got overhauled; the rune system at the end of the game's life was kind of garbage in my opinion, and the compensation given to players did not make up for what they had.
- Questing/leveling was atrocious at some points. There was some very genuinely solid and fun quests that stuck out to me, but a lot of them were tedius and the same MMO ♥♥♥♥ quests over and over.

Overall, I would rate this game a 9/10 for the raids, dungeons and combat alone. Realistically, because of the other glaring issues (player population not included as this is a side effect of the above cons), I'd have given Wildstar a 6/10.

Lots of missed potential, but I'll always be fond of my time spent on Nexus.
