Edit (Dec 22) : Today's update fixed the issue and clouds display normally on Kepler/Maxwell cards again. However this still prevented me and many people from playing this for almost 3 months so the review is staying negative, especially with their initial response to the problem.

Three months after release, the developers decided to push an update that changes how weather rendering is done. That update makes multiple video cards that are included in the game's requirements (Nvidia series 700 and some 900 cards) unable to display clouds or weather effects at all, making the game nearly unplayable.
All responses from them so far are along the lines of "we don't know if this will be fixed" and they've also refused refunds.
So until this gets fixed, or if it ever does, I highly recommend staying away from this horrible developer because one day you might just find your PC unable to run the game anymore for no reason whatsoever.

Edit: I thought this was clear but I should mention that before that update my game ran perfectly fine. All weather displayed normally and I had playable fps on low settings. Yes my GPU is very old now, but the point of this is that the game was in fact running fine until they decided to change the minimum requirements.

So looks like the issue will finally be fixed in the next update according to their bug tracker. I'll update the review with how this turns out.

Changing requirements aren't unique to FS2020 though. While yes it's quite unique for it to change so early into it's lifetime some games like TF2 have unrealistic requirements:
Still states that minimum is Windows XP despite not being able to run Steam on it now.
Only runs at an average of 8 fps with a 3.2GHz P4 (Recommended is 3.0GHz)

Stop trying to act like your 8 year old computer ran this perfectly fine... first off you had it on low settings... you got to run a game on low settings to play you need to upgrade bro, and I highly doupt it ran just fine (15 fps is trash not fine)... spend $1000 bucks and upgrade your rig man... if you can't do that then you shouldn't be PC Gaming...

This review is so bad for so many reasons.

First of all the entitlement mentality. 'I shouldn't have to buy a new video card and devs should cater to me and my 7 year old video card'. Nvidia 700 series was released in 2013. It's almost 2021.

Then he claims his game is 'nearly unplayable'. Just this statement right here says a lot about the reviewer if the thinks cloud textures makes a game 'unplayable'. Personally I think having flight controls not working or responding as intended would make a game unplayable but this guy obviously cares more about graphics then gameplay yet refuses to pay the premium for it.

'HURRRRR Why isn't my HDD as fast as a new NVMe SDDs!!? It's not fair! Let's boycot this dev because they broke my 8086!' or 'My integrated gpu doesn't support ray tracing and now my game is unplayable so I demand a refund!!' 'My Civic isn't as fast as a Ferrari! I'm so mad!'
