Another bug addled game from Ubisoft. I've been locked out of progression twice now in the campaign due to bugs that won't progress. The first was "give your uncle 4 schnapps." Couldn't for the life of me get that one to progress. I started a new campaign and almost immediately after getting that quest, it's fulfilled. Ok, maybe that was a fluke? Nah I have to destroy the mountains to get to the iron to progress the story. Gotta find a demo expert in uncles saw mills. The spyglass keeps showing up to activate the quest but then disappears when I click it. Do not buy this game, it's also overinflated with DLCs.

I can not believe how BROKEN this game still is in 2023. I don't even know where to START. From stupid timed quests, to randomly spawning in monsters. No matter WHAT I do with weapons to make them stronger, every monster is just a bullet sponge. Monsters spawn in the DOZENS on top of each other, feet from you when you turn your back. I will be walking in the middle of no where and literally SLIP ON ROCKS and injure myself in the game. I have to make sure my controller isn't plugged in at launch or else I have to hard close the game FROM MY SECOND MONITOR through task manager because it freezes at log in. Need to repair your armor and weapons? Have fun scrounging junk for the next two hours while the rest of your stuff breaks on that journey. Feel like you've gotten a hang of the game? Too bad your stache box is full and you should get a subscription of $12.99 to shove as much crap in there as you want. I used to be one of the biggest Bethesda fanboys around and the fall from grace they've had has made me so angry that I can't imagine buying another game from Bethesda ever again. Todd Howard, you deserve all of the thrashing you get.

I think this guy has enough money in his pockets, he just enjoys making games for us in his free time. No need to worry about support, playing the game supports him.

I have no idea what all the other players are experiencing. Not a single crash, and the game has an extra "choose your own adventure" mini game attached to it for extra story. If you love Chrono Cross, this is the way to go.

Most in-depth RPG I've played in years. Buy it, at any price it's available at.

I have to say, this game is way over hyped. I hear so many reviewers rave about how good of a zombie game this is yet I can not for the life of me have fun with it. The game loop goes as follows: Find a base > Find some supplies > Craft explosives > Find plague heart > clear map of plague hearts > move on to a new map scenario. Once you've finished your first map, you're allowed to "legacy" a character which I still have no idea what it does. That game mechanic is not really explained in game. You then take your community you built into a new map, and do the same thing over again. There are also timed missions in the game. Some have an invisible timer on them. You should never pressure your players into a feeling of racing against the clock. I thought we learned this back with Dead Rising. Your AI team mates never understand what you're trying to do. I remember once I was trying to place C4 on a plague heart before it started spewing out zombies and my AI team mate looks over, and starts shooting it, activating the horde. Like come on, what horrible AI. Over all, this game is like a 6.5/10 would not recommend.

Fun merchant sim I enjoy coming back to every now and then.

This is an alright game for being free. Not too many objectives to go through and worth a few hours of your time. I quit playing however because of a game breaking bug. There is a building that repairs other building and it does not do it's job. When it's finished fixing things, it will not start fixing buildings again without a hard reset of the game. After I did that, they worked fine until I started placing buildings and stopped working again. It seems this game is dead and this bug will never be fixed so I see no reason to go back into the game to attempt to finish the one objective they give you.

This game is a great visual "Chose your own adventure" book. The game mostly consists of text and when combat arrives, a little bit of luck and dice rolling (behind the scenes). The story telling is where this game obviously shines and has a few routes to take your character RP wise. This game was a breath of fresh air in a wave of stagnant games.

Edit: Still enjoying the game, the visuals and storytelling hold up through out the story.
