Don't listen to the people who say that you can get banned for modding in single player.

You cannot get banned for modding in single player

The people who say they got banned are lying. Here is a quote from Rockstar's website.

"This was not intentional, no one has been banned for using single player modifications, and you should not worry about being banned or being relegated to the cheater pool just for using single player PC mods. Our primary focus is on protecting GTA Online against modifications that could give players an unfair advantage, disrupt gameplay, or cause griefing." - Rockstar, May 8 (or 7), 2015.

This is an awesome game. There are so many mods coming out for it, like even player dedicated servers.

The only thing I don't like about this game is how GTA: Online's networking works. It's P2P (PeerToPeer). This makes cheating way easier, and I wished R* had gone the dedicated server route. I have not come across any hackers as of today. You may encounter a hacker every lobby, I have never personally seen one. I only saw two back in the X360 version of the game.

I would give GTA V a 10/10. GTA: Online would be a 8/10.
Go buy it now.
