I am only 1 hour in and I already think this is the best game for learning Japanese. I would consider myself a upper beginner in Japanese before playing this game, but it feels tailored for anyone under intermediate (I believe there are less than 300 words?). It feels like they could easily expand on the words. I'm not sure why they chose some common words but not others (I believe you learn the word for "Mother" pretty early, but "Father" isn't in the game).

Even though I have a few negatives above. I've never in my life thought "I need to leave a positive review on this game" both in such a short amount of time and constantly while playing it. When I think of a video game that'll help teach a language this is EXACTLY what I always wanted and tried to describe to people. My biggest complaint is that I didn't hear about it during the kickstarter.
