In have really mixed feelings about this game.

The game is both beautiful, atmospheric and spine tinglingly creepy. The game also benefits hugely from the VR visuals. In fact I'd say it’s visually astonishing. The audio is also really well done, with some great spatial sound.

The puzzles are well presented, engaging, logical and just the right difficulty level to present a challenge without being impossible. You'll frequently find yourself stumped for a minutes, but never for hours.

But the weak implementation of motion controllers, really drags down all the fantastic work. The pressure required to pick things up is way too low meaning that everything is held in a vice like grip making putting object down difficult. Your hands don’t actually seem to interact with anything, happily clipping through all the objects in the game. When you are holding things your hands will inexplicably snap to objects the item can interact with, and if you hold onto something immobile like a door handle you can then walk away leaving your hands behind.

However I have hugely enjoyed the time I've put in so I'm giving it a thumbs up. It’s worth buying. It could be so much more though, and I really really hope the developers work on the hand interaction because as it stands it really lets the game down.
