One of my favorite games ever! It's really really good.

Great visuals, great music, great voice acting. Simply great.

Pros: The art and music are beautiful and the atmosphere is rich. The storytelling is ambiguous and open-ended, but mostly avoids feeling meaningless. Although core gameplay is quite simple, the controls felt refined enough that platforming sequences were fun, if a little on the easy side.

Cons: Multiple long sequences with nothing to do except hold a directional button. Most of these aren't too bad, but it's a little disappointing to realize that what should be tense sequences are little more than cutscenes. Often hard to tell floors and walls apart from things in the background. Quite short if you aren't exhaustively searching for the optional challenges.

Overall: 6/10. Like a beautifully plated entree at a fancy restaurant that doesn't quite live up to its presentation.

It's good. Really good. I'm very comfortable putting it in my top 5 platformers of all time.

There are a lot of design issues and bugs with a range of severity, but it's been a while since an open-world game pulled me in like this. It reminds me more of playing a heavily-modded version of Skyrim than anything else, so if that experience appeals to you, you'll probably like this as well.

Super fun and replayable action roguelite. I'm awful at it, but it's still fun.

Not a perfect game by any means, but has some cool ideas and a great soundtrack.
