Small Story elements, but the main draw is to kitbash (build) you own gunpla from the various parts you can find in-game.

I bought this literally after watching Stumpt Price started playing it on his channel. For its price and goal, the game fits a nice little quick play ... that may end up dragging on for an hour without realizing it.

I would love to see this ported to Android if at all possible, just to be able to play it anywhere with controller support.

So far, loving the game. It expands on Shadow of Mordor quite well. The graphics are great. The scenery just makes you stop and stare at times. You can't help but crack a chuckle at some of the orcs intros. And the expanded Nemesis system to give the Boss Orcs new strengths and vulnerabilities makes things interesting when they hunt you down before you can get intel on them. The base game is worth getting to try, and we'll see if the DLC is worth the money as well later on.

On Microtransactions? One part, it sucks as something to see pop up more. Fortunately, WB HASN'T YET made it mandatory. Yes, it does make things go faster but its not necessary to play. As much as I want to rage at it, this isn't the microtransaction to rage and smash as it doesn't GATE or BLOCK the game. Instead, its microtransactions for the ability to cheat in the rarest of loot as early as you want. Yes, its pay to skip the classical grind the existed in games of old.

I find the "Creation Club" of Skyrim and Fallout 4 to be worse at the moment.

My alias? Pansy Ophiuchus, something my wife started calling me in jest when we got together. I wasn't a Merc then, just a scientist who fell in love with one. Why the @#$k am I here then? Because one piece of $4!% security guard decided to toss her out of an airlock in order to get a better share of pay from the job, while I was watching our baby daughter. I left my daughter is with my parents, and I ... I left to get justice after no one else would help me.

I'm not proud of what I've done to gain the favors and money to find him, but find him I did. That murderous SOB thought he could in a ship filled with shielded grunts and armoured guards, with he himself in armour. That idiot, I was going to make my vengeance karmic. I never did tell you what I worked on, did I? Teleportation. I used my personal Swapper variant I've been developing to move through the entire ship, bypassing locks and confusing the heck out of the grunts and guards until I popped in right beside the SOB. The look of shock on his face I was satisfying, even if I was suddenly surrounded by shielded or armoured personell. Then I simply dropped a simple Glitch Trap at my feet, and teleported the SOB and an unfortunate grunt into the vacuum of space.

Well, I couldn't just leave the poor boy I just spaced to die, so I swapped with him reversing our situations leaving me in space, and him alive. Fortunately for me, my pod swung by and picked me up leaving me with the perfect view of the SOB asphyxiating while I just sat their and watched.

I'm done with this life, and retiring from it as soon as I finish this beer. I've got a daughter to raise, and I'll need all the time I've got to make sure she will know just how wonderful her mother is. This monster that I became to get justice? I'm going to bury it, six feet under where it belongs.

Here, maybe you can use my personal project. I won't need it anymore. Just call it .... The Pansy's Perspective Swapper. Heh. That should fit, in multiple ways.

Well worth the price.
Combat is very similar to Assassin's Creed or Arkham(Batman) against the normal fodder, though it is interesting leading/releasing various monsters to wreck havoc. It IS nice to have chances to cause the fodder to run screaming with certain kills to ge them off your back if needed, rather then running away and hiding all the time.
Voice Acting is simply incredible.
Nemesis system is pretty unique. Some you won't even notice are Captains or above, I know I've had a few killed by accident during the chaos of battle with some various beasts running about in a Stronghold, or killed them instantly with a Ranged Attack or Finisher. Others can have you scratching your head trying to figure out how to kill the guy for a couple minutes. My own headscratcher was trying to figure out how to kill a certain Defender Captain (shield) that was basically immune to anything but combat finishers and had quite a number of allies following him around that wouldn't be scared off.

Still working through the game, but taking my time and hitting various side quests and Captains that catch my eye for now.

At its core, its a hack and slash mixed with some tactical elements into it. A solid base, if rather simplistic.

The reason WHY you need to play this game?
Art.
Narrator.
Music.
Mood.

Art: Not graphics, but ART. The visuals just set this apart in a way that is rare in games. There are no FMVs, realistic 3d graphics, or even a next-gen graphics. Instead, the scenery and design of ... well everything is just wonderful.

Narrator: This is simply a rarity in games, a spoken narrator and a good one at that. The ONLY game that beats this and Bastion in this is Quest for Glory IV, and its tough to beat John Rhys-Davies as your Narrator and some improv jokes in it. Just ... just turn up the volume or put on headphones and Listen as you play the game.

Music: ...... Get those Headphones or Turn up the Volume even further. The musical score is wonderful and sometimes when you get to a nice spot to look at, Hold TAB and enjoy.

Mood: Not story, which is kinda simplistic and predictable to be honest, but the MOOD. Dark, Melancholy, Hopelessness hidden by bravado and dreams. Its a lovely setting that fits the emotions it evokes as you play along.

Always a fun time waster, whether alone, with friends, or with strangers. Mix of Tower Defense and Diablo II style killing.
