It's okay. I beat it on stream, its definitely a classic, however, it does have a lack of content that makes replayability essentially non-existent. At most you could replay the game to try and win by using a different set of weapons/skills, but it doesn't make too huge a difference. As far as I can tell, there aren't really multiple endings per say, instead, its more along the lines of, you either beat the bad guys or die trying, and if you ever try to become a bad guy, the game basically just gives you a game over right there. Story is pretty linear, but gameplay isn't so restrictive that the game is impossible to play. I think the beginning is a total slog and absolute noob filter, but after that, the game does get a little better, once you (mostly) stop dying instantly from everything.

Move soldier, cancel all other soldiers actions because they walk in the same corridor

mutant growth growing all over the planet and destroying your bases, unabated? Sure would be nice to research how to stop that, if only it were possible to get a sample outside of a mission (missions do not spawn in this area)

want to not constantly die to alien rockets? There is no solution to stop this

Giant ball of angry wasps shooting at you? Welcome to UFO: Aftermath, there is no good way to approach this

Can't be bothered to add checkpoints and your pacing is slow? I won't bother finishing it or writing a positive review.

It's Overwatch but the characters are less cringe and they didn't delete it for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ sequel with worse mechanics to pander to exclusively the competitive crowd, and its free. This is how you dunk on people.

Its free... thats pretty much it.
It's essentially the worst of call of duty and the worst of battlefield combined.
The maps just about all suck, especially knife-edge and train-wreck, trainwreck being a good way to describe the first-time experience of this game. You are bombarded with so many pop-ups, currencies, alerts, and more, even just after your first few matches, and it is incredibly overwhelming and confusing, especially since its so much bloat that clogs your UI. The menus are terribly janky to figure out, and the operators fairly generic and uninteresting. The game doesnt really bring anything new to first person shooter games, and is just filler while we wait for EA and Activision to stop sucking at making their games. It's really a sweat-fest, so expect total disillusionment and confusion during your first 10-20 hours as you die constantly and your screen is lighting up like a christmas tree.

I think this game could be better if it were to make some revisions to make it less annoying, like increasing health or reducing damage for some weapons, or add an armour system, or find some way to reduce the spam. Another way to fix this game is to redesign the terrible maps that are just awful for most maps whether youre defending or attacking. A lot of fighting usually just devolves into this scenario: you are pushing a corridor completely filled with smoke and can't see anything as countless enemy explosives and other devices fly at you endlessly, and you repeatedly die to people who are simultaneously shooting through the smoke, and the 6 medics on your team will not revive you.
If you are not in this first scenario, then you are in this second:
the battlefield is totally open and you cannot advance because your team will not use any smoke or provide sufficient covering fire to advance, so both teams devolve into sniping until the attackers tickets go down by at least 100, then a team might suddenly wake up and change tactics, or the match will stagnate here and never advance further.

-annoying jumpy boys everywhere
-grenade/gadget spam
-same tired old spots on each map that make teams automatically win if they set up in them properly
-sniping is just a terrible experience, both doing it and getting sniped
-There's like 3 or 4 actually best weapons, and you get them right away so the rest is fluff
-attachments don't matter, just maximize accuracy, control, or handling, and you have the ultimate weapon
-"return to the battlefield... 10... 9... 8... 'you died outside the battlefield' **10 second respawn delay added** (even if an enemy kills you, not just the timer hitting 0)
-a bunch of stuff is just completely mislabeled or gibberish because this is not a native english game, one of the alerts when aiming the stinger rocket launcher at a heli is literally just chinese characters because it never got translated
-almost every operator has the most annoying voice possible, its not charming
-graphics are good
-vehicles seem off in this game, but I can't say they are bad for any specific reasons, but they're not done well like in Battlefield, they're more done worse like the ones in Call of Duty
-i played the extraction mode once, i dont like looter shooters, it was boring looting with very few, if any, npc's, i was randomly grouped with two people as a squad (did not want to), and then we were almost wiped so i extracted and left the other two who were running across the map. Why would you add a wound that makes you not able to run/jog in an open world looter shooter setting without special medicine? Never played it again
-this is pretty much the bare minimum gamers deserve from games, its not special beyond it being free, if its priced at any amount then don't buy it, and if it does get a price ill probably change this review to negative. This isn't below the bar of what to expect from games, its sitting right on the bar and struggling to hang on

This is a really great app for making a virtual avatar for stuff like streaming and videos, which is what I use it for mainly. It has no good tutorial though, except online, so that was frustrating at first, but once I figured it out, it was very easy to use and wonderful to personalize. I think its accessible enough for most people to use, but anybody too impatient is gonna have a bad time if they're unwilling to figure out the interface through a video tutorial online that they'll have to look up. Besides that, it works great, and does what it says.

No idea why some people would hate this game so much, as it is absolutely unique and revolutionary for the time of its release, with a series of gameplay features that have yet to be recreated, or have only been fractionally recreated in seperate bits. This is the ultimate evolution simulator, with the ability to begin as a cell, become a creature, go from a tribe (the worst stage of the game) to a planet-wide civilation, and move on to dominating your massive galaxy! There is even terraforming, alliance formation with other space empires and the ability to see all your different creature creations in each consecutive playthrough. I loved this game when I played it closer to its initial release, and I still do. It has really pushed the evolution concept to its limits and has yet to be exceeeded in quality of simulation. The game certainly has definite issues, like the tribal stage being absurdly difficult and the most limited in scope, and the lack of any GOOD saving system, it still has a lot of content to offer any new person to the game, and is an excellent game for people of all ages, with different challenges to complete and achievements to get. You don't need to make a spore online account and can just play with your local data, so the sign in is totally an optional feature that would just let you see other peoples creations in your games if it was on. This game is definitely worth a try for anybody. I really hope more game developers try to top this game in how successful it was with such a massive scope to cover. If big companies truly cared about making games of large scope and quality anymore, then Spore would have just been one small forgettable EA title of the past, but the company has totally dropped the ball on delivering anything good since the time of games like this, the sims 3, and battlefield 3.

This game runs alright for the most part, but there are some glitches here and there that can cause issues, and sometimes there can be some game-ending bugs, like saving around a buggy area or buggy monster queue, but it really is SCP: Containment Breach, just multiplayer, which is very nice. I was worried it'd be some dumb remake where it has none of the same content and totally changed visuals, which would have definitely ruined it. Worth a shot with friends.

This game was suprisingly enjoyable with also a suprising sudden end to the enjoyment. It's similar in gameplay and concept to games like Factorio, where you control resources and supply lines, but here you're meeting demand and sustaining a profit to expand the business and sell more and make money. Your goal is to outcompete the other businesses, buy their stock, and you win by getting a monopoly in your town, but thats sort of just one goal you can go for, while you really want to just expand until you can't anymore or can't sustain your profits enough to keep expanding. The expansion of towns is cool, and the different game options are also a fun addition to the game. There is a learning curve in the beginning for sure, and I still have no idea why I would want to use some buildings. There are some frustrating hard limits on the game, like the cities grow permanent squares that can't be purchased or demolished in any way. Also, the maps do have a limited size, but this isn't really a major issue as it only blocks you when you're already towards the end of the game and generally out of the mid-game. The logitistics management is interesting but sometimes frustrating, especially with traffic patterns causing issues sometimes. You can't really control where the trucks decide to go or how they should queue in areas leading to backups in a lot of areas, changing how you design where factories and storage goes.
