I first got into Monster hunter with Worlds on PC, and despite it's many issues it become one of my favorite games ever. While I wasn't a big fan of Rise, I think wilds is an improvement on World and another favorite already. I'd recommend this to anyone that had fun with World. Many of the things that were annoying about Worlds has been fixed here. For example no more tracking, and a seikret to take you to the monster. On the flip side, many of the subtly great things are also missing like cat chefs.

My pros and cons compared my monster hunter experience, as authorized by the guild:
## Cons:
- I do wish the story was more interested or less required. I loved the cat steak quest, and it had a couple good moments.
- communication errors have been a bich (couldn't join any SOS's last night)
- Needs that sweet optimization
- No private rooms anymore... (yet?)
- No cat chefs (like wtf)
- High rank rank and low rank armors aren't different
- I wish it was more playable on keyboard out of the box. World took a lot of work to get manageable, but it was the first big PC port so I excused it, but not for Wilds after worlds success. Having now played it on controller it's so easy, and some UI features are obviously just for controllers.
- Free meals have been broken lately. Last 4 have expired while looking for them, 1 while talking to them about the meal.
- Many effects aren't clear enough, like how much damage burst or flayer adds. Built the HR arkveld set and the healing is meh and not per hit like the description says.
- Not ran into it but paying for extra character redesigns is dumb in this game format.
- the kinsects don't show as an upgrade tree anymore and it's a massive pain

## Pros:
- Wound system is amazing in wilds. Makes IG much less annoying to play.
- While communication errors are annoying, it now no longer boots you from the lobby and rarely happens mid mission (moreso an issue with joining stuff) Used to be a big issue with worlds, even when I played a couple weeks ago
- Food animation are great as always
- Same old fights I love.
- Palico's just gain more abilities with quests instead of building a loadout.
- I do think the graphics have improved, and it does a good job of setting graphics to 'ultra' where it can for cutscenes and stuff. But still look great 80% of the time in or out of cutscenes.
- Movesets, animations, sounds are so well done as always for a monster hunter game.
- aside from rarity 8 weapons, and maybe the guardian set, the grind isn't too bad. Though I swear it has a desire sensor to withhold drops.
- The backup bot support system is nice to help with fights without hoping someone will respond to your SOS
- I'm actually glad the wire bugs are gone. I didn't play enough of rise, but i think it's that system and how it ruined IG that turned me off from that game.
- don't have to 'unlock' monsters by collecting tracks and samples like in world
- Seikrets are amazing to have. Don't have chase after the monster and can sharpen while enroute. Useful in combat to get out of reach to heal/sharpen. (craftable seikret armor when?) That said it's so useful that it's very annoying when it's not working quite right.
- mission box being on the seikrets is great too, can't forget it at camp anymore
- Food buffs being multi-mission is great (buut just make sure you check how long is left before departing...)
- In most cases I enjoyed that the trailing quests were automated.
